According to Paul Pogba’s agent, Mino Raiola, Manchester United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer should be worrying about other things at the club apart from the French midfielder.
Raiola admitted last week he and Pogba would decide whether the World Cup winner will remain at the Theatre of Dreams at the end of the season, has also stated that the midfield gem would be open to a move back to Juventus in the summer.
United boss Solskjaer responded to those rumors by saying that he was sure the 26-year-old, who is currently sidelined due to an ankle injury since December, still wanted to play for the 20 time Premier League champions and added that Pogba is a player of the club and not his agent, “Paul is our player, not Mino’s.”
Raiola has now hit back at the Norwegian manager on social media, suggesting that his focus and attention is elsewhere amid reports United are lining up potential replacements for a new manager.
On social media site Twitter, the 52-year-old Italian super-agent has sent out a scathing message for Solskjaer by insisting that the United manager should think of his own position at first, “Paul is not mine and for sure not Solskjaer’s property, Paul is Paul Pogba’s. You cannot own a human being already for a long time in the UK or anywhere else. I HOPE Solskjaer DO NOT WANT TO SUGGEST THAT PAUL IS HIS PRISONER, BUT BEFORE Solskjaer makes comments about things I say he should inform himself better about the content of what has been said.
He further wrote that Solskjaer should worry about other things instead of focusing on Pogba, “I am a free citizen who can think and express my thoughts. Until now I was maybe to [sic] nice to him. Solskjaer should just remember things that he said in the summer to Paul. I think Solskjaer may be frustrated for different reasons and is now mixing up some issues. I think that Solskjaer has other things to worry about. AT LEAST IF I WAS HIM I WOULD.”
