Here ManUnitedcore.com evaluates how Solskjaer’s men could line-up against Derby County
Out: Marcus Rashford (back), Paul Pogba (ankle), Lee Grant (other).
Doubtful: Axel Tuanzebe (hamstring), Timothy Fosu-Mensah (other) Daniel James (knock).
Solskjaer could make several changes to his Red Devils team ahead of the Derby fixture. This is due to the weekend
Manchester derby clash with Manchester City.
If Ole Gunnar Solskjaer returns back to a 4-2-3-1 system, Diogo Dalot should replace Aaron Wan-Bissaka at the right-back position. Brando Williams should come in for Luke Shaw at left-back.
Eric Baily is also available for selection and could start alongside club captain and former Leicester man Harry Maguire in defence.
Midfielder Scott Mc Tominay and Brazilian star Fred should both line-up at the base of United’s midfield. Jesse Lingard would be competing (aiming) for a place in the attacking midfield. This may see Bruno Fernandes take a rest after featuring in a couple of games and been outstanding in most of them as well.
Daniel James is expected to be in United starting 11 (eleven) after missing the trip to Goodison Park with a knock. Juan Mata is most likely candidate to feature on the opposite wings.
Nigerian striker Odion Ighalo will be aiming to make a second start on the United shirt as they take on Derby County away from home at the Pride Park Stadium.
