It has only been a week that the summer transfer window has opened, but Manchester United have already got going. The Red Devils are already in talks with some of their transfer priorities and are also seen on rewarding their players. The club has rewarded youngster Brandon Williams with a new deal, which runs up to June 2024, with an additional year’s option.
Brandon Williams in a Manchester United academy graduate and the feisty full-back has done very well in his breakout season. The 19-year old has been used as an understudy to Luke Shaw in the Premier League and has massively impressed. In all competitions this season, Williams has played 34 games for the Red Devils and has looked very confident.
Solskjaer and Ed Woodward have been delighted with his performances on the pitch and the training ground. The full-back has now been offered a new and better contract which will get him about £65,000 per week.
Williams was very happy as he stated “Signing this contract is another really proud moment for myself and my family.”
Even the manager expressed his happiness and said: “Brandon has had an excellent first season, so we are delighted that he has signed a new contract.” With a contract extension, we expect to see Brandan Williams running up and down the line for a long time.
