Manchester United FC have finally unveiled their new Adidas home kit for the 2020/21 season, featuring some great new designs. The Red Devils will face LASK later today in the Europa League and will feature in the new kit. The new kit is based on Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s philosophy of the United DNA that has been instilled in the squad.
Almost all the big Premier League clubs had unveiled their new kit, but United did so yesterday. The kit is quite different from last season’s kit and has the traditional Manchester United badge instead of the black-coloured badge, used this season. The fonts have changed and look aesthetic and much more pleasing to the eye than last season’s kit.
Adidas’s design director stated that “For this season, we researched the values and iconography that connect athlete and fan, and looked to fuse these with modernity and innovation, to create something that connects the people and stands for unity.”
The kit also has the traditional white shorts and black socks, which also feature a threaded design.
The new kit will be on the show tonight as United face LASK in the second leg of the Round of 16 tie. Sighting their earlier form, the Red Devils will be expected to win their first game in the new kit.
