Manchester United FC target Donny Van de Beek reportedly has an agreement with Ajax to leave the club this summer. Ajax manager Ten Haag has confirmed that Van de Beek will leave the club if the right offer comes in. Manchester United have been heavily linked to the Dutch midfielder and will be keen to get his services.
The 23-year old Dutch midfield maestro is a graduate from the Ajax’s famous youth academy. He is very versatile and can play in a wide array of positions, across the midfield. Van de Beek is technically gifted and puts in a shift in the midfield, making him one of the best box-to-box midfielders.
Van de Beek has been a consistent performer for Ajax for the past couple of years from the midfield. He has scored 10 goals and has set up 11 more in 37 matches for Ajax this season. In the Dutch Eredivisie, he has 8 goals and 5 assists to his name from the centre of midfield this season.
Real Madrid were interested to have Van de Beek on board and had reportedly agreed on terms with him last season. But, a move never materialized and Van de Beek had to stay put at Ajax. This transfer window, United have shown a lot of interest in the Dutch international and can sign him with the right offer.
With De Jong and De Ligt leaving Ajax last season, and Ziyech already leaving Ajax have an agreement with Donny. Ajax CEO and former United player Van der Saar has also indicated towards interest for Van de Beek from big clubs. Ten Haag has said that the club will allow Van de Beek to move on if the right offer comes in.

Ajax value Van de Beek at about £40m to £50m, which might sound less, but isn’t, looking at the pandemic scenario. United’s relationship with Van der Saar could be used for the good to drive the price down though. But it seems unlikely that the Dutch club will budge from their price tag.
Van de Beek is a talented and tenacious midfielder who works tirelessly and is good in front of goal as well. He will make any team in the world stronger and come summer transfer window clubs will be fighting for his signature.
