Alaves president believes Facundo will develop well at the club

Facundo made his move to Manchester United after being recommended by the ex-Manchester United player Diego Forlan.

Facundo Pellistri has made eight appearances for the U-23 Manchester United squad and the manager believes that regular first-team football would be really beneficial to the youngster. Facundo has had his first training session with the Alaves team and everyone at the club is really pumped up to see him perform on the pitch. There was a lot of interest in the teenager but Alaves managed to secure his loan services for the remainder of the season.

Alaves president Alfonso Fernandez de Troconiz speaks really highly of him and feels that he can have a big impact on the club.
‘We have full confidence in him and this is why we really fought to get him in on loan,’ Troconiz told Sportsmail.

Ole has also been vocal about his talent and this move seems like a great way for him to develop into a better player with some first-team experience on the European stage. Alaves are currently 18th in LaLiga and a relegation battle is on their hands. They will be trying everything at their disposal to stay in the top tier of Spanish football for another season after having played 5 consecutive seasons in the top tier.

It may be too early but hopefully, Facundo Pellistri can have a huge impact on how the remainder of the season will turn out for Alaves and ensure their survival in the top flight of Spanish football. This will also be the first time that we will see him play such a major role in first-team proceedings in a European league and the staff at Manchester United will be monitoring him closely.
