Alexis Sanchez and Manchester United FC were a disastrous pairing as both the club and the player suffered because of the association. Sanchez has finally been sold to Inter Milan earlier this summer transfer window on a free, after his successful loan spell at the club. But in his latest Instagram video, Sanchez has made some shocking revelations from his time at Manchester United.
Alexis Sanchez was signed by United in the winter transfer window of 2018 and was soon made the highest-paid player in the Premier League. But the Chilean never made it at Old Trafford, mostly because of his injuries. Sanchez became one of the most hated players amongst the United fan base and was also labelled as one of United’s worst signings.
In his latest Instagram video, Sanchez said: “After the first training session I realised many things, I came home and asked my family and my manager if I could not break the contract and return to Arsenal, something did not fit me, but I had already signed.” He also added that: “The journalists also spoke without knowing and it hurt. Former players also spoke and had no idea what was happening inside the club. And they hurt me.”
United have moved on from Sanchez and will look to win silverware this season under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.
