Manchester United forward Alexis Sanchez is on the verge of joining Serie A side Inter Milan this summer transfer window as he has already jetted to Italy to complete the final few formalities.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has already finalized a move for Belgian forward Romelu Lukaku in the summer as the 26-year-old was not in the Norwegian’s plans for the future. And it seems like Chilean star Alexis Sanchez will be the next player to join Inter Milan on a loan deal as the forward has arrived in Italy.
There was plenty of hype surrounding Sanchez when he made the move from Arsenal to Manchester United back in January 2018 when Henrikh Mkhitaryan went the other way in a swap deal. However, the expectations have caused United fans to feel extremely toxic as Sanchez has been in dire form ever since scoring three Premier League goals in 32 appearances.
Sanchez was one of the most underperforming players at United last season as well and even failed to register a place on the bench for most of the campaign. The 30-year-old has now not featured in any games for Ole Gunnar Solskajer in a while and the club is trying to get rid of Sanchez because of his extremely high wage rate.
Sanchez spent a few seasons in Italy with Udinese between 2008 till 2011 but his arrival at Milan will be a loan deal and he will play under Antonio Conte for Inter Milan.
