In his latest talk with Manchester United’s Official Website, Edinson Cavani has revealed his chat with Ander Herrera before signing for Manchester United.
Edinson Cavani’s deadline day signing for Manchester United has taken some by surprise and others by shock. Cavani is 33-years old but is still believed to have got his goalscoring prowess after he was released by PSG. The Uruguayan striker looks determined to be successful at Manchester United and continue his goalscoring accolades at the highest level.
In his latest talk, Cavani said: “It was genuinely getting to the last minute and I called Ander to have a chat. I have a lot of admiration for Ander, for the kind of person he is, and I had the feeling that his words were going to help me out, by telling me a bit about what it was like at United.”
He also added that “So yes, it’s true that after I’d finished talking with Ander, we came to an agreement here with the club.” Ander Herrera is also known as one of the most passionate players to have played for Manchester United and still proves to be so. Cavani will provide the much-needed depth to Manchester United’s attacking department and provide competition to Anthony Martial.
