Ander Herrera was one of the most passionate Manchester United players to have come into the club. The Spanish midfielder will face Manchester United later tonight in the group stage of the Champions League as PSG host Manchester United. In his latest interview with MUTV, Ander Herrera is still very passionate about the Red Devils and is still in love with the red half of Manchester.
The Manchester United board let Ander Herrera go on a free transfer as they let his contract run down. The midfielder was also an integral part of Solskjaer’s plans in the manager’s first six months as the Red Devils manager. In his latest interview with Mark Sullivan, Herrera talked about Manchester United’s main man, Bruno Fernandes and David De Gea.
The PSG midfielder said: “Bruno (Fernandes), with his attitude and character, is a proper Manchester United player. When he missed the penalty the other day (at Newcastle United), and after played like that, it says a lot about him. He also added, “David (De Gea) made one of the saves I was used to seeing when I was there, so it was not a surprise for me.”
Ander Herrera is set to play against both Bruno Fernandes and David De Gea in the Champions League tonight. The midfielder is now an important player for the Parisians and PSG will be reliant on him to win the midfield battle against the Red Devils. His comments portray that the Spaniard is still following Manchester United which shows his love for Old Trafford and Manchester.
