Andreas Pereira has had a tough time at Manchester United this season, having struggled for position and game-time. The Brazilian international has played in a host of different positions this season due to the lack of depth in United’s midfield department. After the arrival of Bruno Fernandes in January, Pereira has found game-time hard to come by and is now ready to move on.
Pereira has played a total of 25 games in Premier League last season but has hardly featured since January. It was earlier reported that Solskjaer wanted Pereira to stay at Old Trafford, but the player is keen to get game-time. On the other hand, the manager reportedly cannot guarantee Pereira game-time because of his lack of abilities on the ball.
The Brazilian midfielder has reportedly attracted attention from several clubs in Spain, Germany and Portugal as well. Valencia, who signed him on-loan a couple for years back, are also interested in having the midfielder back in Spain. Brazilian source Esporte Interativo has claimed that Andreas Pereira is now looking to leave his boyhood club.
With about 50 days to go for the transfer market to close, United could use the money generated by Pereira’s sale in recruits. Pereira is likely to be sold at about £15m to £20m, which will be dear to Manchester United.
