Ansu Fati has supposedly decided to depart from Barcelona, and this decision has caught the attention of Premier League teams.
According to AS Sport‘s report, Fati believes that he lacks the trust of Barcelona’s manager, Xavi. This sentiment is highlighted by his late substitution in the 79th minute during the season opener against Getafe.
Premier League clubs such as Manchester United, Arsenal, and Tottenham have all been linked to a potential move for Fati.
The 20-year-old possesses exciting speed and skill, rendering him a promising talent. However, his desire for consistent playing time grew, and he became frustrated after seeing Abde Ezzalzouli and Lamine Yamal substituted before him during the Getafe match.

Despite having four years left on his contract with Barcelona, Fati now believes that his future lies elsewhere.
He initially debuted for Barcelona in 2019 at 16 years old and clinched the title of the club’s youngest-ever goal scorer when he scored against Real Betis.
He also holds the record for the youngest goalscorer in Champions League history for his goal against Inter Milan. In 2020, he suffered a meniscus injury in his left knee that sidelined him for a span of nine months.
Fati then took over the Barcelona No. 10 jersey from Lionel Messi in 2021, but his status as a regular starter has diminished.
Despite this, his contract with Barcelona is set to continue until 2027, featuring a release clause of €1 billion (£853m/$1bn), which was included when he signed the contract.
This move was taken by the Spanish giants to safeguard a valuable asset, considering his potential for a successful career with the club.

Man United’s manager Erik ten Hag is reportedly open to the idea of acquiring another left winger during the summer transfer window.
The current options for the left-wing role include Marcus Rashford, Jadon Sancho, and Alejandro Garnacho. However, there could be changes in player positions for the upcoming 2023/24 season.
For instance, Sancho might compete with Antony on the right side, while Rashford could transition into a striker role. Rashford displayed his capabilities as a striker last season, contributing to 16 goals.
In such a scenario, Fati could be a valuable addition to reinforce the left-wing position. He demonstrated impressive performance for Barcelona in the recent season, registering a goal or assist every 130 minutes.
Nevertheless, the Red Devils might encounter a big hurdle in the form of the asking price.

Recent reports have indicated that it could take around €70 million to persuade Barcelona to part with Fati.
Given United’s restricted budget and the uncertainty surrounding the club’s ownership situation, it seems improbable that they would be willing to pay such a sum for the youngster, especially considering his limited playing time in the previous season.
