France football federation has revealed its star studded squad list for the upcoming World Cup campaign in Qatar and it’s rather unsurprising to know that Anthony Martial has been omitted from the roster.
The Manchester United no. 9 has been unable to keep himself fit and his unavailability has affected his chances to play both for his club and country. However, Raphael Varane had made it through and he will play for Didier Deschamps side.
Fabrizio Romano has posted a tweet mentioning the name if the players making it to the France World Cup list.

It’s a shame that the former AS Monaco striker has been suffering from three different injuries and his fitness record has been dreadful to watch. The 26-year-old started the campaign on a bright note as he notched up three goals and two assists in five games but those numbers were unable to get a raise since he was sidelined with an injury.
Varane suffered a bad injury as well against Chelsea on October 22. However, even after leaving the field in tears with the World Cup campaign around the corner, his injury didn’t look as gruesome as it was initially thought.
The 29-year-old was a key player for the Reds in the 2017 World Cup and also the Euros. Deschamps had hinted earlier that he would not allow injured players to travel with the squad to Qatar.
It’s rather unsurprising to see former Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba and Chelsea star N’Golo Kante miss out due to similar reasons.
