As reported by the club’s official website, Manchester United winger Antony’s precise finish against Barcelona has won him the February Goal of the Month award.
Our No. 21 curled a precise shot into the bottom corner with the score tied at 1-1 and extra time very much a possibility, propelling United into the Europa League round of 16.
The 23-year-old sent the ball beyond Marc-Andre ter Stegen with his left foot in a classic Antony fashion, and the celebrations at Old Trafford erupted immediately after he scored the winner.

As a result of Antony’s goals against Manchester City and Charlton—the former of which was also the winner of our Goal-of-the-Month award for October—the fans have witnessed the Brazilian win such awards every month.
Marcus Rashford, who was also named our Player of the Month for February, finished second with his levelling goal against Barcelona at the Nou Camp, behind Antony’s strike by only 2% in the fan poll.
Antony received a staggering 28% votes, while Marcus received 26% votes. Casemiro’s decisive header in the Carabao Cup final was the only other goal to reach double digits.
The Brazilian midfielder won 11 per cent of votes for his wonderful goal in our 2-0 victory over Newcastle in the Carabao Cup final.
Well-deserved Antony.
