Alejandro Garnacho has made the decision to continue at Manchester United and is close to agreeing to a new contract at Old Trafford.
The teenage star is steadily rising to the top ranks of football’s most in-demand young players. Real Madrid and Juventus are reportedly keen on signing him this year.
Garnacho has contributed four assists and two goals in 15 appearances. The recent Derby match highlighted his significance for the Red Devils as he set up the winning goal for Marcus Rashford.
United signed the Argentine wonderkid from Atletico Madrid in 2020 for a sum of £160,000. As things stand, the 18-year-old will be eligible to negotiate a pre-contract agreement with overseas clubs in 12 months.
However, The Telegraph has reported that United are ready to offer a new contract to Garnacho to tie him to the club at least until 2025.

The attacker is nearing agreement on a new contract that will substantially increase his weekly wage from the present figure of £5,000 per week.
United are wary of repeating the same mistake that they made with Adnan Januzaj.
Following interest from Paris Saint-Germain, United offered the Belgian a new contract just two months after he made his debut for United’s first team in 2013.
The move helped the Belgian enjoy a quick rise to fame. But Januzaj’s appetite waned, and four years later, he was sold for only £9 million.
