Manchester United are due to face Aston Villa over the weekend at Villa Park with Ole Gunnar Solskajer’s men being in for a strenuous period of congested fixtures in Premier League action.
The Red Devils ensured their spot in the finals of the Europa League courtesy of a convincing 8-5 aggregate win over AS Roma but just came out second best in the second leg held earlier this week as they succumbed to a 3-2 defeat on their travels to Italy.
Let us now have a look at how Ole Gunnar Solskjaer might set up his Manchester United XI on Sunday:
4-2-3-1
Dean Henderson would be in line to take over the goalkeeping duties from David de Gea who was terrific between the sticks in the loss to AS Roma.
Victor Lindelof will be included alongside Harry Maguire in their now firmly sealed centre-back pairing meaning that Eric Bailly will drop down to the bench to make way for the Swedish defender.
Fred is also likely to drop out of the XI so that Scott McTominay can take his usual holding midfield role besides Paul Pogba who had started the Europa League midweek fixture.
Another face that will be back in the XI for United is sure to Marcus Rashford who had been on the bench for the Roma clash with Donny van de Beek being given a much rare outing.
