Manchester United are in dire need of a commanding centre-back after shocking performances from the likes of Maguire, Lindelof and Eric Bailly. The Red Devils have failed to sign a centre-back this summer transfer window, even though it was a priority according to most pundits. In such a time, the recovery and comeback of Axel Tuanzebe is music to the ears of Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.
Tuanzebe has been sidelined due to an injury, as he last played for the United first team in December last year. His injury has been a huge loss to Solskjaer, who has had to play Maguire in almost every game for Manchester United. Tuanzebe is highly thought of by Solskjaer, as the centre-back has pace, strength and passing abilities, all that Manchester United are looking for.
It is now being reported by Manchester Evening News that Tuanzebe has returned to full training with the squad. Ole Gunnar Solskjaer expects Tuanzebe to be back in contention after the on-going international break. The time of his comeback couldn’t have been better as United are entering into a crucial phase of their season.
Axel Tuanzebe will help Solskjaer somewhat as he will help the manager shuffle his options at the centre-back spot.
