According to the Guardian, Bayern Munich are reportedly looking to disrupt Manchester United’s pursuit of Mason Mount after negotiations between United and Chelsea reached a deadlock.
United’s three bids for the midfielder have been rejected, prompting them to shift their focus to Moises Caicedo. Chelsea is demanding £65 million for Mount, who has one year remaining on his contract.
Despite United’s ongoing interest, they are unwilling to meet Chelsea’s valuation at the moment, opening the door for other clubs to enter the race.
Bundesliga giants Bayern Munich is planning to capitalize on this situation by attempting to lure Mount to Germany. The Bavarian club are interested in hijacking United’s bid for the talented midfielder.
Bayern manager Thomas Tuchel is interested in signing the English star and hopes for a reunion with the midfielder, whom he worked with and won the Champions League with at Chelsea.

Tuchel was able to get the best out of Mount during their time together, and the current Bundesliga champions are keen on securing his services.
The Blues may be willing to accept a lower offer from a foreign club rather than sell to a direct rival in the same division.
While Chelsea would prefer Mount to sign a new contract, they are resigned to the possibility that he may leave on a free transfer next summer if no deal or sale is agreed upon.
Mauricio Pochettino wants to keep the 24-year-old but also understands the likelihood of losing him in this transfer window.
