The agent of Red Bull Salzburg forward, Benjamin Sesko held meetings with Manchester United football director John Murtough last week to discuss a potential transfer to Old Trafford.
Numerous clubs are reportedly interested in signing the 19-year-old during the summer transfer window, which has recently generated a lot of discussion about the young player’s future. The Red Devils are said to be fans of the striker, who scored against Liverpool on Wednesday night in a preseason friendly.
Sesko has scored 13 goals in 40 games for his Austrian club, including 11 goals in 37 games last season. The power striker also contributed seven assists.
Meanwhile, the young player has started the new season off right, tallying two goals and one assist in two outings, including a goal and an assist in Salzburg’s first league game last Friday.
According to the Daily Express, Murtough allegedly spoke with Sesko’s agent, Elvis Basanovic, to go through a potential summer transfer to Old Trafford.
According to the source, Man United are hoping to bring in two attackers before the transfer season closes if Cristiano Ronaldo is successful in his desire to leave the team.
Sesko, who stands 6 feet 4 inches tall, has been compared to Erling Braut Haaland, who transferred from Borussia Dortmund to Manchester City earlier this summer.
Several “very large clubs” reportedly tried to sign the youngster in 2019, according to Basanovic, but Salzburg ultimately prevailed after paying Domzale £2.2 million to secure his services.

The teenager, who has two goals in 13 appearances for Slovenia, has also drawn interest from Chelsea, Newcastle United, Liverpool, Real Madrid, and Tottenham Hotspur.
However, given that the attacker is under contract with the Red Bulls through the summer of 2026, Salzburg is in a strong position to demand a substantial transfer fee for him.
