Birmingham City is winning the race to sign Manchester United ace, Amad Diallo, on a loan move in January, according to transfer news from Fabrizio Romano.
The winger, who joined the club from Atalanta about a year ago, has a lot of potential. Before impressing with the U-23s, he made a significant difference in our Europa League campaign.
Because the arrivals of Jadon Sancho and Cristiano Ronaldo would make it difficult for him to break into the starting XI, it was decided that he would move on a loan deal in the summer.
He was expected to join Feyenoord, but an injury prevented him from doing so. The teenager has now recovered and played in last month’s 1-1 draw against BSC Young Boys. However, the Red Devils are willing to loan him out in January.

The Ivorian international has impressed with the U-23s, but he needs to play with the main team soon. Although playing for a Premier League club would be preferred, playing for a Championship club is just as excellent.
Playing through the nitty-gritty of English football’s second-tier may toughen the youngster up for action at the top level. Although a move to a higher-level Championship team would have been preferable, Diallo might now be the hero for Birmingham if he can be signed this month.
The 19-year-old is a promising young player with a bright future at Old Trafford. Jesse Lingard and Edinson Cavani’s contracts are set to expire this summer, and they may go. Anthony Martial has already sought a transfer, and Cristiano Ronaldo will eventually go due to his age.
If the Old Trafford club does not make any additions to their team, the former Atalanta star might be the next big thing. But, first and foremost, he must gain first-team experience and develop into the world-beater who will convince us of his worth.
This contract, hopefully, will go through for the sake of the young African starlet. Being one of the main guys at Birmingham City, or any other club he may join in January, might allow him to really shine without the pressure of wearing the Red Devils shirt.
