The latest reports have claimed that Premier League side Manchester United has ended their pursuit in trying to sign Juventus attacker Paulo Dybala in this summer transfer window.
The Red Devils will look to improve on their sixth place finish on the Premier League table from last season and Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has a big task on his hands in the summer to bring in the players that can help him get Manchester United back to the summit of English football. The Norwegian manager has already signed up Daniel James and Aaron Wan Bissaka this summer but still wants reinforcements if he is going to get United competing for major honors in the near future.
Most recently, United was linked with a potential move for Juventus superstar Paulo Dybala in order to replace Paul Pogba as there if speculation surrounding the Frenchman’s future at the club. La Liga giants Real Madrid have shown a keen interest in the 26-year-old World Cup winner and Pogba has also admitted his love for the Spanish club.
There are only four days remaining for the transfer window to shut and it seems that Dybala will not be joining Manchester United this summer as the English side are unable to agree on personal terms with the Argentine over his wage rate, image rights, and commission to his agent.
Dybala was set to join Manchester United in a swap deal with Romelu Lukaku as the Belgian would make the move to Turin. Solskjaer is still prepared to offload Lukaku but a deal for the 25-year-old Dybala looks out of the question as the attacker has his heart on remaining with the Serie A champions following a breakdown in agreement with Manchester United.
