Manchester United is likely to make a move for Leicester City defender Wesley Fofana, who is in high demand. Fofana is recently linked to Chelsea as a possible Antonio Rudiger replacement.
Due to the poor record of Harry Maguire, Manchester United is likely to be in the market for a defender this summer, but they may face stiff competition if they try to sign Fofana.
The Leicester defender is being pursued by four clubs, according to journalist Nathan Gissing. Manchester United, Manchester City, Chelsea, and Real Madrid are the clubs in question, as shown in the tweet below.
Wesley #Fofana is an option for Chelsea at centre-back. Man City, Man Utd are also interested. Real Madrid were last summer, Ancelotti is a fan. 🇫🇷

Fofana is still only 21 years old, but his maturity has been on display in his performances for his team, particularly after recovering from a devastating injury.
Last year, the French defender fractured his leg in a pre-season friendly and returned in March 2022. Fofana has demonstrated in recent weeks that his injury hasn’t slowed him down, as he continues to compete at a high level.
Leicester City has struggled this season and appears to be on the verge of missing out on European competition. They are now in the middle of the league table due to a mix of mediocre performances and a crowded schedule as a result of their participation in the European Conference League.
Wesley Fofana could be on his way out of Leicester in search of European action. Manchester United may find it tough to persuade Fofana to join them as a result of this.
Manchester United are currently six points behind Arsenal in fourth place, and their chances of winning the Champions League are dwindling.

However, the club’s prestige and the new project managed by Erik ten Hag may lure the 21-year-old, since the Dutch manager frequently prefers to use younger players.
