According to the Sun, Brentford ace Ivan Toney wants £250,000 per week to move to Manchester United.
The Red Devils have been linked to the player several times in the past and it is said that the club wants to sign an attacker to provide competition to Rasmus Hojlund.
However, other Premier League teams like Chelsea and Arsenal are also in talks with the English star. The 28-year-old’s contract will end next summer.
It is also been claimed that Brentford might entertain offers in the region of £40-50 million. The Bees are aware that they might lose their prized asset for free if they hold on for a higher fee.
Hojlund has scored 13 goals this campaign and has been in fine form under Erik ten Hag. However, it will not be a wise decision to put pressure on the young Danish ace.

The squad needs more competition and hence, Ten Hag is monitoring experienced attackers in the current transfer market. Toney could be a great addition but not at his wage demands.
He is currently earning £200k per week with the Bees and expecting more at this stage of his career seems over-ambitious. United will be careful of stretching their wage bill and they are already planning to sell some of their current players.
Jadon Sancho, Anthony Martial, and Christian Eriksen are some of the names that could be sold this summer. Sir Jim Ratcliffe and his management are working on maintaining equality in their wage books.

Providing £250k wage might disrupt their plans and hence, they must offer a basic sum to Toney. Stuttgart’s Serhou Guirassy is another option for the English giants.
The African star is currently earning £36,000 per week with the German team. He has scored 27 goals for his side this season and he could be another option in case Man Utd decide to ignore Toney’s demands.
It remains to be seen whether the Old Trafford outfit remains keen on landing Toney in the upcoming months.
