Ten Hag confirmed Raphael Varane and Victor Lindelof are back in training in his pre-game interview, but both should stay on the bench ahead of the upcoming FA Cup final.
Luke Shaw is at risk of missing out on the Wembley Stadium showpiece, as are Harry Maguire, Tyrell Malacia, Mason Mount and Anthony Martial.
On the upside, Lisandro Martinez and Marcus Rashford are in contention for the starting XI after coming off the bench against Newcastle.
The player between the posts will be non-other than Andre Onana as he has been the first choice keeper for Erik ten Hag throughout this disappointing campaign.

The left back position will once again be filled by Aaron Wan Bissaka and the right back position will be taken by one of the best playuers of the team this season Diogo Dalot.
Since the return of Lisandro Martinez from a never ending injury he will partner with Casemiro in centre back position ahead of the goalkeeper.
Christian Eriksen will be the senior member in midfield with Kobbie Mainoo and will be sharing his experience with the youngster. Bruno Fernandes will be playing as an attacking midfielder creating a lot of chances for the attackers.
Amad Diallo will be starting on the right side of the wing following his amazing performance against Newcastle United and he will be partnered by Alejandro Garnacho on the opposite side. Rasmus Hojlund will be the lone striker upfront.
