Bruno Fernandes was back to his best yet again as Manchester United sealed all three points against Everton in their backyard. The Portuguese magnifico was at the heart of almost everything the Red Devils produced going forward as he got a couple of goals and registered an assist. In his recent post-match interview, Bruno talks about his elite mentality and about the allegations made about the team.
Bruno Fernandes is the man of the moment at Manchester United, as has 30 goal contribution in 33 games in the Premier League since his arrival. This season he has been the best creator in the Premier League and got an edgy goal last night, which could have been Rashford’s goal. In his post-game interview, he showed his class and elite mentality when asked about the goal.
He said: “(Marcus) tells me he didn’t get a touch but it doesn’t matter if he did or didn’t, I’m here to serve my strikers.
The midfielder also added that “It was difficult but before the game we spoke and said we need to be positive. It doesn’t matter what happens in the game, we need to be positive.”
Fernandes is surely Manchester United’s talisman and their most important player under Solskjaer this season. The manager would hope that his January signing would save his job yet again as Solskjaer is under immense pressure. The Red Devils have now had a very mixed season till now and will hope to make things better as the season goes on.
