This time around Manchester United wants to secure the services of Fabio Paratici, who is an executive at Juventus. Fabio Paratici has been an integral part of the success of Juventus in the last decade when they have established domestic domination.
Fabio Paratici is a former Italian player who has played a lot of his career in the second and third tier of Serie A and is currently the Chief Football Officer at Juventus. After retirement Paratici started his non-playing career as the head of scouting for Sampdoria and was so good that he was even receiving offers from other places.
Ricardo Garrone, the owner of Sampdoria, wanted Paratici to inherit the Director general role at Sampdoria but the greener pastures of Juventus were too good to deny. Since then, he has become an essential part of Juventus, which is one of the biggest clubs in Europe.
He was part of a controversy when the Italian side tried to bring Luis Suarez to their side but nothing that badly affected his reputation or image.
The hierarchy has been under some immense pressure lately to appoint a new Director of football who can work along with Ole and help the team. The Biaconeris would certainly not want their main man to leave the club, so it looks like Manchester will have a tough battle on their hands.
