Manchester United have a difficult goalkeeping situation at the club with De Gea, Henderson and Romero still at Old Trafford. Dean Henderson came back to Old Trafford after a couple of year on-loan and extended his contract with the Red Devils till 2025. It is now being reported by 90min that Dean Henderson might leave on-loan to Celtic, as early as the January transfer window.
It was earlier reported that Dean Henderson is keen on moving out of Manchester United on-loan in search of game-time. Henderson has started for the Red Devils only once in the Champions League and hasn’t started in the Premier League this season. With Henderson’s arrival, De Gea has improved a lot and has left the Englishman on the bench.
It has been reported that Dean Henderson is desperate to leave United with Celtic as one of the suitors. In order to gain England’s No.1 spot for the Euros next year, Henderson needs consistent game-time at the highest stage. Celtic will try their best to lure Henderson into a loan move to increase Henderson’s chances of making it to the English starting lineup.
Manchester United and Solskjaer need to ponder hard on Henderson’s situation at Old Trafford as he is surely the future No.1 of the club.
