Christian Eriksen will soon have his medical completed at Manchester United, despite rumours indicating that Brentford is still interested in signing the Danish midfielder.
The playmaker is believed to have already informed both clubs of his decision to go on to Old Trafford as his next destination.
However, Eriksen has not been included in the United travelling squad which raised concerns regarding his move. The fans are concerned about when he will be able to meet up with his new teammates.
ESPN claims that a deal is still very much in the works and that the former Tottenham Hotspur will soon have a medical. Eriksen’s transfer to Old Trafford has been announced by various journalists, although Manchester United has not yet responded.
Last week, Bees manager Thomas Frank revealed that he hasn’t given up on trying to sign his former player. Eriksen chose to join transfer rivals United after Tottenham decided to lower their interest, but Brentford’s offer is still on the table right now.
However, the Danish midfielder is attracted by the prospect of playing under Ten Hag. He had trained with the former Ajax manager during his recovery period and seems to be impressed by his training methods.
Christian Eriksen could be vital for the Red Devils as his contribution in attack is unmatchable. Also, his Premier League experience over the years could be vital for the manager and his players.
