Contract rebel Paul Pogba open to renewing terms with Manchester United

Contract rebel Paul Pogba is reportedly open to renewing terms with Manchester United beyond the end of the season when his deal is due to expire.

Pogba, however, is keen on the interim manager Ralf Rangnick staying put in the top job at Old Trafford with the World Cup-winning midfield maestro left impressed by Rangnick’s work.

The France international is yet to turn out under Rangnick’s management with Pogba serving a lengthy spell on the sidelines with a thigh injury but has been won over by the vision shown for United by the new gaffer.

According to reports from The Sun, it is suggested that the former Juventus man could be in line to put pen to paper on a new long-term deal and rebuff interest shown in his services by the likes of Real Madrid and Paris Saint-Germain.

Pogba’s future at Old Trafford ahead of the summer has been subject to much speculation with the Frenchman holding out on committing his future to the Premier League bigwigs who have pushed for the midfielder to sign extended terms.
