Cristiano Ronaldo collects his Globe Soccer award in Dubai

As reported by Globe Soccer, the world’s leading goal scorer, Cristiano Ronaldo received his special honor for Top Goal Scorer of All-Time in Dubai this week.

He was unable to receive the trophy last time as he made a video call appearance but now he has personally collected the trophy in front of the fans in Dubai.

The trophy was a commemoration for Ronaldo’s various achievements including scoring the most goals in men’s football history and competing in the Champions League, the game’s most prestigious competition, where he has gone toe-to-toe with Lionel Messi for over a decade.

The Portuguese superstar will be hoping for a better second half of the season at United, as the Reds appear to be a long way from winning anything. Ending the season trophyless would be disheartening for both, the player and the club.

Cristiano Ronaldo was appeared pleased to receive his Globe Soccer trophy in Dubai, despite the fact that he would undoubtedly prefer a Premier League win or another Ballon d’Or to add to his impressive collection.

A few weeks back, the Portuguese had also received a special award from the UEFA for being the leading goal scorer in men’s international football.

Ralf Rangnick granted his players some time off, but they’ll be back at Carrington this weekend for training in preparation for the FA Cup match against Middlesborough.

We believe that his goals are important for the club to fight for a trophy. Furthermore, if things happen smoothly, he could sign a new contract before moving to Sporting.
