Crystal Palace are planning to sign Manchester United defender Aaron Wan-Bissaka in an effort to bring the right-back home to Selhurst Park.
In 2019, Palace decided to sell Wan-Bissaka to United for £50 million. He has played a sufficient amount of games for the Red Devils, but in recent weeks, he has been linked with a transfer away from Old Trafford.
Wan-Bissaka has recently made a slight comeback and has performed admirably under Erik ten Hag. But according to The Sun, Palace are still hopeful about signing both he and Conor Gallagher, and if necessary, they’ll hold off on finalising the agreements until the summer.
Manager Patrick Vieira is eager to upgrade his squad. Before the transfer window opened, Wan-Bissaka was said to be moving to West Ham. However, things have calmed down due to his performance for United since then.
Palace’s plan to move both Wan-Bissaka and Gallagher looks ambitious. However, they currently have an issue in their plans, as the United defender has probably done enough to persuade Ten Hag that he is a quality player.
The English star has performed well in his last six league games, and he could be on course to stay at Old Trafford beyond the summer transfer window.
