Dan James can be arguably called a failed prospect at Manchester United as he is now finding it difficult to make it to the bench. But the winger is something else when he plays for Wales and in the international break, he was amongst the goals and assist for Wales. In his recent press conference, James has reinstated his wish of doing good at Manchester United.
It was earlier reported that Dan James had attracted interest from Everton, with Ancelotti being a huge fan of the Welshman. Though he has started in some of the games this season, James has looked clueless while playing for United. Whereas, for Wales, where the game is much more direct, Dan James finds it easy and flourishes in his role for the national team.
In his press conference, James said: “I feel really good at the moment. When I do play, I give my all. I bought into everything we wanted to do and thankfully I got that goal and assist. I wouldn’t say it’s a release (playing for Wales). Man United is my club and I love it there. Whether I am playing or not, I’m proud, as proud as I am to play for Wales.”
Dan James is one of the quickest players in the Premier League and if used well, can create havoc. The Welshman also needs to study his football more as he seems to be very one-dimensional and thus predictable. Solskjaer and the rest of the Manchester United staff need to make Dan James better as a player and the player needs to learn as much as possible.
