Dan James’s future at Manchester United is a topic of speculation as the young winger is reportedly wanted by other clubs. It was earlier reported that Leeds and Marcelo Bielsa want Dan James and United are also happy to sell the Welshman if they sign Sancho. It is now being reported by Sky Sports that James isn’t keen on moving away from United this summer.
James had a mixed first season in the Premier League as he burst onto the scene with a goal on his debut against Chelsea. But as the league moved on, James was found out and was quickly benched, especially after the restart. Greenwood’s emergence also hindered James’ progress, as the Englishman started most of the games in the second half of the season.
He was recently linked to Leeds United, who had previously tried to sign him when he was at Swansea. Marcelo Bielsa is a huge fan of Dan James and wants a pacy winger in his Leeds team in the Premier League. But the Welshman is not keen to move elsewhere and wants to keep fighting for his place at Old Trafford.
But if Manchester United sign Jadon Sancho, they will rethink about James’ situation, as he won’t get a lot of game-time.
