Darren Fletcher Returns as part of Ole’s Coaching Staff

The Red Devils finally seemed to have picked up their form, defeating Aston Villa 2-1 last week, and they have ended the festive season with a lot of things to be happy about. To add to the list of positives former Manchester United player and legend Darren Fletcher is returning to Old Trafford.

Darren Fletcher will be part of Ole’s first-team coaching staff and everyone who is related to the club is happy about it.


Darren Fletcher has won 5 Premier League titles, 1 FA Cup, and 1 Champions League with Manchester United and has enjoyed his time at the prestigious club. He also knows Ole personally and they share an intimate rapport.

Darren Fletcher has been working with the U-16s since October but the call up to the first-team coaching staff is a whole different game in itself and everybody in the club is pumped especially Darren Fletcher himself.


Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is confident that Darren Fletcher will bring the same energy and determination to his new coaching role as he did when he was a player at Manchester United.

Solkskjaer said, “Darren has the United DNA running through his veins and he knows exactly what it takes to be a Manchester United Player” Darren Fletcher is joined along with some of his former teammates.

Fletcher made over 340 appearances for Manchester United between 2003 and 2015. Darren fletcher knows the Manchester United way through and through and spent an illustrious career at the club and made himself a legend in every right of the term.
