Manchester United FC have been reportedly keen to add to their left-back department this summer, after the injury of Luke Shaw. The Red Devils have struggled since Shaw’s injury and are in the lookout of a left-footed full-back in the transfer market. Now, Sky Sports report that David Alaba might land in the Premier League in 15-days time, with United and Chelsea links.
David Alaba is one of the most decorated footballers in club football and is ready to move on from Germany. Arguably one of the best full-backs in the world, Alaba has rejected a €15m-a-year contract at Bayern Munich. The 28-year old has been fantastic this season, especially sighting his change of position from left-back to centre-back, due to injuries in the Bayern squad.
The Austrian international has entered the final year in his contract thus Bayern have to sell him this summer. Sky Sports reported that Alaba has been linked to Manchester United and Chelsea and could be in a Premier League team by only a fortnight. To this, Christian Falk, in his trademark style, replied “Not True” in his tweet.

Alaba would surely make any team in this world better and United should welcome him with open arms if they could strike a deal with Bayern.
