Must ReadDe Gea saving United from embarrassment throughout the season

Apart from David De Gea this season, there are 4 keepers in the league who has been standout throughout the season and those are: –

  • Jose Sa (Wolverhampton Wanderers)
  • Aaron Ramsdale (Arsenal)
  • Ederson (Manchester City)
  • Alisson (Liverpool)

Let’s take a look at these keepers’ performance throughout the season in a nutshell-

Special Attributes

David De Gea (Manchester United)

The Spaniard has been doing a brilliant job throughout the season and is mainly responsible for carrying the “sinking ship” forward. He is gifted with a great reflex allowing him to make those outrageous dives to prevent the ball from going in. David’s added strength helps him save those high-powered shots with ease which maybe inside the box or outside the box.

Ederson (Manchester City)

The Brazilian is gifted with a powerful left leg allowing him to give those accurate passes to the forwards right from the box. It’s an added advantage for the team as it makes the counter-attacking easier. Apart from this, he has been phenomenal in front of the goal keeping out long range shots and making brilliant 1v1 saves.

Alisson (Liverpool)

Alisson has been brilliant ever since he joined Liverpool. He is a key player in the team and he is another keeper who has a brilliant vision helping the ball roll high up the pitch. Arguably, Alisson is one of the best keepers in the world in 1v1 situations. His composure comes into play allowing Liverpool to win a handful of games due to this man’s brilliance.

Jose Sa (Wolves)

The Portuguese is having a brilliant season with Wolverhampton Wanderers. He plays a massive role at Wolves goal preventing those balls to get in with his excellent shot-saving ability. Another ability that he possesses is that he has a brilliant positioning idea helping him to save the shots from long range and close range.

Ramsdale (Arsenal)

Ramsdale has a remarkable glow up in his career by joining the Gunners. Ramsdale is also gifted with a fine reflex allowing him to make some flashy saves and since he has a good vision it helps him keeping those close-range shots out and help Arsenal get a taste of victory.

Overall Analysis

Overall, we would say that Ramsdale has been the best with his distribution, saves and overall influence on the team. If it wasn’t him helping Arsenal keeping those clean sheets then Arsenal would have been in the mid tables fighting for a European spot. But due to his brilliance they are still in the top 4 race.6. Final Verdict

Alisson and Ederson on the other hand are recognised veterans. They have always been brilliant in front of the goal and moreover their defence comes into play preventing both of them in making saves.

On the contrary, our very own man David De Gea has found his form back, making brilliant saves day in and day out but it is only because of the United’s defence he concedes those goals.

Jose Sa` has been a brilliant signing for Wolves. He perfectly fits Bruno Lage’s style of play and has quickly established himself as one of the best keepers in the Premier League making some remarkable saves.
