West Ham wants to sign Manchester United Jesse Lingard for permanent cause as his contract is set to expire.
As indicated by Daily Mail, West Ham chief David Moyes wants that Jesse Lingard should remain back at the club after his recent contract with Manchester United closes down. The midfielder has been in great form since joining the Hammers back in January, scoring four and helping two goals.
While Solskjaer anticipates that the player should get back to the club next season, Moyes accepts that Lingard will need to remain back. Moyes feels that West Ham’s ascent to the fifth spot can be a tempting variable for the midfielder.
Moyes said: “Jesse wanted to come here, right from the start. When I was talking to him he wanted to come to West Ham. He saw it as a really good place for him. I think he’ll have seen what we’re trying to do. He’s joined a good group of players as well. We’ve got international players and I’m hoping we can add to that in the coming transfer window. The job is to try to add to that. But I would hope Jesse sees this as a good place if it’s possible to be done, and if we think that we want to do it at the end of the season.”
This season, Lingard was simply given two games in the EFL Cup and another in the FA Cup. Truly, things didn’t look excessively splendid for the 28-year-old, with the club generally supplied in positions he plays in.
