West Ham United midfielder Declan Rice’s post-match comments will excite the fans at Old Trafford.
As reported by The Manchester Evening News, after Manchester United’s huge victory against them, Rice clearly stated that he loves playing at Old Trafford.
Doesn’t it sound shocking to listen to such words from a player who has been our top transfer target for so many years?
The English defensive midfielder has never failed to get linked to a move to the theatre of dreams and after yesterday’s comments, such links will get stronger and stronger.
Declan Rice was phenomenal against Manchester United but they were not better than the Red Devils as we were able to snatch a win at the very last minute. But he was still happy to play at this legendary stadium and called it his favorite stadium.
When asked about how much he loves playing at Old Trafford, he said:
“Yeah, I was loving it, I think every time I come to Old Trafford, I’ve always said it’s one of my favorite places to play. It’s an amazing stadium and you’re playing against top opposition. The history of this stadium, you always want to do well and you always want to play well when you come here.”

Declan Rice could be able to enjoy playing here every day if he moves to Manchester United. The defensive midfielder’s style of play has changed in recent months.
Initially, he used to be staying deep and was mainly responsible for protecting the center-backs. But now, he has been playing more like a box-to-box midfielder. His direct passes and a short burst of runs make it quite clear that he is not afraid to attack.
Must Read: Why Manchester United have not signed any player this January
Although he is playing for West Ham right now, he will always be constantly linked to our club and Rangnick could make it possible if he makes him a part of his plans. Even if he doesn’t sign any midfielder, a new incoming manager could make it possible in the summer transfer window.
He will certainly cost us nothing less than £100m for sure.
Nevertheless, the fans will be happy to see him play in the famous Red shirt and perform in front of the noisy Old Trafford stadium, his favourite stadium.
