France won the tie 1-0 however it might have been much more. Pogba’s spectacular pass to find Hernandez down the left side of the German box was not just a simple pass.
Even the Athletic’s Amy Lawrence had said: “It is not often that a pass turns out to be the moment of a match. But one executed by Paul Pogba 20 minutes into this heavyweight tussle was such a work of art which elevated the game so suddenly, so decisively, it could have been cast in bronze and hung from the rafters of the Louvre.”
His way of controlling the ball in tight areas and great ball distribution was such a joy to watch. He was involved again for France when he provided a pinpoint pass to release Mbappe with lots of space. Mbappe passed on to Benzema and he scored. But unluckily it was ruled for offside.
It shows that Pogba is just a pure baller for France. “Indeed all the games he features are very entertaining and worth a wager; all you need to do is place your bet at Novibet.”
Pogba played in the core of a midfield with Chelsea’s N’Golo Kante behind him, Adrien Rabiot giving offensive runs, and obviously, the pacy Kylian Mbappe playing in front of him.
Does Pogba deserve better than Manchester United?
Was it simply a one-time event that Pogba played so well for France? Does the French coach Didier Deschamps know how to use him properly and in a manner, United coach Ole Gunnar Solskjaer and even José Mourinho don’t? Or then again would he say he is much better when he plays for France?… There are many questions.
Even Borussia Moenchengladbach’s Christoph Kramer had said: “When I see Paul Pogba playing like that, I wonder what on earth he’s been doing at Manchester United all year. He made it look like child’s play. He was world-class.”

There were loads of praises for Paul Pogba last evening and as it should be. He was class apart, yet it demonstrates how important it is for Man Utd to sign a better CDM to help Paul Pogba attack more. N’Golo Kanté close by him in that France side is the perfect pair. They compliment each other so well.
The way that went over the course of about two days, Victor Lindelof put in a man-of-the-match display for Sweden against Spain and Pogba did likewise for France is unavoidably going to bring up issues about how players are utilized at Old Trafford, about whether the coaching is sufficient and about whether Solskjaer truly is good as a manager of Manchester United.
The Red Devils completed one spot higher in 2020/21 than they did in 2019/20 and improved their count by eight in the Premier League.

However, they finished another season without a trophy, without knowing who their best goalkeeper is, and with Pogba not having a set position, with Donny van de Beek and Alex Telles apparently failed signings and without having settled the main problem of how to improve United.
Anyway, If Pogba and Lindelof continue to perform like this then Manchester United and their management will have many questions to answer.
The time is not far when other teams will be looking to grab Pogba and maybe Pogba himself will find it better to leave Manchester United.
