Manchester United’s veteran star striker Edinson Cavani is backed to be pondering over an Old Trafford exit in the January transfer window.
Cavani is set to fall down the pecking order with the arrival of Cristiano Ronaldo this summer and the latter displaying a brilliant zeal of form for his new colours in front of the goal.
The 34-year-old Cavani, who linked up with Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s camp only last summer window, is yet to feature this new season for United after being on the sidelines with an extended injury issue amid rumours that he could look to seal an exit in the near future.
Reports from Todo Fichajes have suggested that Cavani is open to a transfer elsewhere as early as the forthcoming January transfer window should regular minutes on the pitch not come his way in what remains of this year.
Premier League side Everton have been credited with a strong interest in landing the former Paris Saint-Germain man but the Toffees will be challenged by Boca Juniors who are also keeping tabs on the Uruguayan forward.
