Edinson Cavani urges fans to have faith in their players

Man United striker Edinson Cavani has urged Manchester United fans to retain trust in the players and expressed his happiness to play for the club in an interview with the club’s media.

In the last two months, the Red Devils have had a difficult time. Everyone, including the owners, the manager, and the players, has been deeply troubled.

Fans have expressed their disappointment after defeats to Liverpool and Man City at Old Trafford in the space of two weeks. United, on the other hand, remains within striking distance of the Top 4 and in command of their Champions League ambitions.

While talking to the club’s official website, Edinson Cavani, the star striker, has now urged fans to have faith in the players, saying that they will soon turn things around. The 34-year-old addressed a message to his fans in which he stated:

“It would be to have faith in their team and to have faith in their players, who, without a doubt, will be trying hard to perform well and to keep growing and improving, so that the faith that they’ve shown us, we might be able to pay it back with good results, hard work and by winning.”

“So I would just like to send best wishes to all the United fans, and it really is a pleasure for me to be here at their club.”

In the 3-0 win over Tottenham Hotspur, the Uruguayan earned his second league start of the season. He was, however, on the bench against Atalanta and was injured against Man City. There’s a chance he’ll play against Watford on Saturday.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer wants his star striker back as soon as possible. Cavani’s work ethic off the ball and goal threat are unmatched, and United will require his talents if they are to turn this season into a success.
