England left-back Luke Shaw is in fine form for his country as he scored a wonder goal against Switzerland. The three lions won 2-1 and Shaw was incredibly happy with his performances for the country.
The United left-back had scored a similar type of goal against Italy in the Euro 2020 finals and surprisingly that goal was also scored at Wembley.
After the match, Luke Shaw talked compared his life at Manchester United and the England national team. He was obviously not happy with his role at the club and expressed his dissatisfaction quite openly.
The 26-year-old’s overall performance has been rapidly improving under Gareth Southgate. But that hasn’t been the case in his club colors this season, with Ralf Rangnick, United’s interim manager, appearing to lack faith in Shaw’s ability.

As revealed by SkySports, Luke Shaw talked about the same issue as he said: “I think the environment here that Gareth creates, you always enjoy it. When I come here it’s about enjoyment and playing games with a smile on your face and enjoying it here when I come here, I always do that.”
“We all love playing for our country, when we’re here we purely focus on what’s happening here, my main focus is England at this time. A big part of football is enjoyment. It’s hard to enjoy it when we’re losing and not playing well at club level. We have to face that.”
“This season it’s not been good enough so it’s hard to enjoy it. We know we’ve got a lot to improve at the club. Right now we’re here with England so we focus on that.”
This week Manchester United has been hit with criticism from its own players. Just days back, Paul Pogba had openly revealed about his life at the club and now it is Luke Shaw who has chosen to do the same.
With Sevilla loanee Anthony Martial also leaving the club on a temporary basis due to this similar issue, talks about the dressing room instability will start making the rounds in the press.
This also shows that the players are not at all playing at their best potential at Manchester United and the club’s management should be blamed for the same.
But for Luke Shaw and Paul Pogba, these performances are bringing out the best in them.
