According to a report by The Sun, Manchester United’s newly recruited manager Erik ten Hag is working for the free transfer of Juventus forward Paulo Dybala this summer.
The summer revolution will be overseen by the Dutch coach, who will be given a £200 million transfer budget by United.
Despite having the financial means to make splashy additions, Ten Hag is clear that he wants to bring in players who match his style of play and that he wants the Red Devils to avoid costly blunders in the transfer market.
Dybala, who is available for free this summer, is one of the players on the Dutch manager’s wish list. After considering Juventus’s offer unsatisfactory, the Argentine has decided not to extend his contract.

Dybala has made around 300 appearances for the Bianconeri, scoring 114 goals and providing 48 assists in the process. He has also played a key role in a number of domestic trophies, including the 2016/17 Champions League runner-up finish.
United will face stiff competition for Dybala’s signature from Atletico Madrid, Barcelona, and Inter Milan. Inter are thought to be the frontrunners to recruit the 28-year-old, having made a hefty offer to his agent Jorge Anton.
If the Italian champions sign the Argentine, United will have to look elsewhere, with Ten Hag reportedly interested in his Ajax young stars Antony and Sebastien Haller.
