Erik ten Hag reveals Manchester United’s transfer plans

Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag has revealed his plans for the upcoming January and summer transfer window. He has revealed that the club are looking for reinforcements as they would be aiming to strengthen the squad even further.

The board will be having several meetings with the manager to discuss their upcoming plans. The Red Devils spent more than £200m this summer and have brought some major changes under the new manager.

Antony, Casemiro, Christian Eriksen, Lisandro Martinez, Tyrell Malacia and Martin Dubravka have all joined the Old Trafford outfit. United did miss out on a few signings but they did cover the shortcomings by making wise decisions.

Ten Hag has now revealed that the club will not hit the pause button in January and will be active in the transfer market. As revealed by Manchester Evening News, he said:

“We have many meetings, we have to improve the structures in and around the club, we will do. We will also look to the window in January or next summer already but also to improve our way of playing by making plans and, of course, this coming period with every third day a game we have to get ready for that.”

United will be looking forward to signing a striker in case Cristiano Ronaldo decides to move on next summer. The board will also consider signing a midfielder and a right-back to compete with Dalot.

This could mean that several outgoings will be witnessed with players like Aaron Wan-Bissaka, Ronaldo, and Axel Tuanzebe looking close to leaving.
