The stage is set in the quarter-final of the EFL Cup as Manchester United travel to Goodison Park to play Everton. The Red Devils are in red-hot form and will be expected to win at least one silverware this season with the EFL Cup being one of the options. Solskjaer was expected to chop and change his side and the manager has obliged but has put out a very offensive side.

As predicted prior to the game, Dean Henderson starts in goal with Axel Tuanzebe and Eric Bailly given rare starts for the Red Devils. Alex Telles also starts as expected, with Shaw injured in the Leeds game which saw him go off. Solskjaer has gone for a 4-4-2 (diamond) system but this time has gone for a very offensive approach.
The likes of Van de Beek, Bruno Fernandes and Paul Pogba start for Manchester United in the midfield with Matic dictating the play. Cavani and Greenwood are bestowed with the goalscoring duties as the two have shown promise in the recent past. This offensive lineup should scare Everton who are without some of their best players.
Plenty of changes for tonight's line-up:
▪ @DeanHenderson comes in for @D_DeGea
▪ Axel is back in the starting XI
▪ @Donny_Beek6 is also handed a start🔴 #MUFC
