Latest club signing Bruno Fernandes has settled so well at his new club Manchester United and teammate Diogo Dalot believes that he has been around the area for two years.
The 24-year-old midfielder made his debut for the Red Devils in a 0-0 draw against Wolverhampton Wanderers at Old Trafford on February 1st, having joined the Premier League side from Portuguese outfit Sporting CP in the January transfer window.
United defender Dalot has explained that his Portuguese compatriot has settled well at the club since making the switch as the duo are currently in Spain together during their mid-season break with the rest of the squad.
The 20-year-old full-back spoke to Manchester United’s official club website and stated that he is getting on very well with the rest of the team and it’s as if he has been here for two years already, “Perfectly. I mean, it is like he has been here for two years already, He is getting on very well with the lads, it is very good to have him here, it is very good for me, very good for the team, he is a fantastic player and a fantastic person. So, it is one more to help the team.”
United have endured quite a tough start to the season and are sitting eighth in the Premier League table, hoping for a top-four finish but still remain alive in the FA Cup and Europa League in a bid to win silverware.
