According to Sport, former Manchester United midfielder Marcel Sabitzer has been offered to Barcelona this summer.
Sabitzer is expected to rejoin Bayern for pre-season training, but there are ongoing rumours regarding his future at the Allianz Arena. United are reportedly considering the possibility of permanently signing the Austrian midfielder, as coach Erik ten Hag was reportedly impressed with his loan spell at the club.
The fact that ‘Sabitzer 15’ shirts are being sold on the official United website has added to speculation that his loan move may become a permanent transfer from Bayern.
Barcelona has emerged as a potential suitor for the Austrian star in the current summer transfer window. While the club has already secured the signing of Ilkay Gundogan from Manchester City, they are reportedly still in search of another central midfielder.
