Fred has been in fantastic form this season and is one of Manchester United’s best players in the Premier League and the Champions League. The Brazilian midfielder has provided the much-needed tenacity and solidity to Solskjaer’s midfield, which has helped United defensively. In his latest pre-match interview, Fred has hailed Bruno Fernandes for his recent performances for the Red Devils.
Fred has been one of the finds of the season for Manchester United as he has shone in the midfield. The tenacious midfielder might be arguably Manchester United’s one of the most important players this season already. He has praised his partner in midfield, Manchester United’s talisman, Bruno Fernandes who has also had a good start to the season.
In his interview, Fred said: “He (Fernandes) is a player who arrived and took responsibility. He’s a great player, everyone saw it. And off the field, he’s a sensational person, a leader in our team. He also speaks the same language, so we’re always together, now Alex (Telles) has also come to help.”
Bruno Fernandes and Fred have been almost ever-present in the Manchester United midfield since the international break and the Red Devils haven’t lost yet. Solskjaer would hope for both the midfielders to continue their form in the pitch and help the club reach new heights. Fred would like to cement his place in the Manchester United side and looking at his performances, he might just have done it.
