Manchester United got a great win over Fulham to keep themselves at the top and this would again do them a world of confidence as one can slowly start to see an elite mentality building up in this Red Devils side.
Like in most games this season Manchester United was slow to get out of the blocks and were even punished for this as Fulham took the lead within the first 10 minutes.
That 1st goal worked like a wake-up call and Manchester United mounted a resurgence as the man of the moment Paul Pogba eventually secured the 3 points with a fabulous strike in the second half.

Manchester United continued their amazing form in the Premier League after last Sunday’s draw at Anfield as they remain unbeaten in 13 Premier League games. They have formed an impressive away record, to say the least.
Fulham was quickly out of the blocks and drew first blood as they scored in the 5th minute itself. The starting few minutes have always been a bit slow for Manchester United in recent times.
Fulham took the lead but couldn’t hold onto it for long as Bruno Fernandes hot an excellent shot that rebounded of the post and the same move was then recycled as he drilled a low ball into the Fulham penalty box. Areola did Manchester United a big favour by not holding on to it as it slipped away from him and Edinson Cavani was at the right place and the right time to pounce on the opportunity.
It mostly looked like one-way traffic from there as Manchester United piled on the pressure but Fulham were still in the game. Reuben Loftus Cheek was creating some issues from the right-hand side and they looked threatening from that wing early on in the second half.
Pogba again cemented his image as the go-to man with an exquisite strike with his left foot that sealed all the points for Manchester United. Everyone at the club would love this newfound confidence and mentality but Ole isn’t getting to carried away and hopefully, they can remain on the summit when the season ends.
