Manchester United FC have signed only one player this summer transfer window, which has shocked everyone in the fanbase. While all other clubs are reinforcing, the United board are still sat with ease and their incompetency has been on show this transfer window. In the wake of United’s loss against Palace, Gary Neville has hit out at the United board for not doing their jobs.
The Red Devils loss to Crystal Palace in the first game of the Premier League season has caused a lot of frustration amongst the fans. Even the former players are disgusted by the club’s performance, especially off the pitch and have hit out at Woodward and co. In his Sky Sports Podcast, Gary Neville has let rip off the board and has supported manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.
In his podcast, he said: “The people in the stands whose job is to put that team on the pitch, build a football team that can win the league and the people in the stand who have been at Man Utd for eight years now have not had the ability to build a football team that can win the league.”
Gary Neville is the second former player of United to come out and hit out at the United board after Patrice Evra did the same last night. Ed Woodward and Matt Judge surely need to get their work cut out to let Manchester United have any chance of winning silverware this season.
